Immersive Experience Description
This 10-week course explores the ethical responsibilities and dilemmas faced by clergy and spiritual leaders. Students will learn to navigate professional relationships, practice accountability, and cultivate an ethical framework rooted in spiritual values. Topics include boundaries, confidentiality, power, integrity, and the unique moral challenges of ministry.
Competencies
By the end of the experience, learners will be able to:
- Understand the theological and professional basis for ministerial ethics
- Examine ethical decision-making in real-world ministry scenarios
- Explore key issues: confidentiality, power, finances, and authority
- Develop a personal code of ethics aligned with spiritual leadership
- Practice critical reflection and discussion to build moral clarity
